Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings, courses, workshops and events held at Haymans Farm and The Barn. 

 

By making a booking, you agree to the terms set out below.

 

Bookings

All bookings must be made in advance via our website or approved booking platform. A place is confirmed once full payment has been received.

 

Attendance

Participants are expected to arrive on time and follow all guidance given by staff during the event, particularly in relation to health, safety and food preparation. 

 

We reserve the right to refuse participation where behaviour is unsafe or disruptive.

 

Changes to Events

We reserve the right to make minor changes to event content, timings or facilitators where necessary.

Liability

Participation in activities at Haymans Farm is at your own risk.

While all reasonable care is taken to ensure safety, Haymans Farm cannot accept responsibility for loss, injury or damage except where required by law.

 

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

 

Photography

Photographs may occasionally be taken during events for marketing purposes.
If you would prefer not to be photographed, please let us know on arrival.

 

Accessibility

If you have specific access needs, please contact us prior to booking so we can discuss how best to support you.

 

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

Please email info@haymansfarm.co.uk if you need to cancel.

We understand that plans sometimes change and you may need to cancel your booking. In all circumstances we would appreciate as much notice as possible. Our policy is outlined below. 

 

Cancellations by You
  • More than 14 days before the event:
    Full refund or transfer to another date.

  • 7–14 days before the event:
    50% refund or transfer (subject to availability).

  • Less than 7 days before the event:
    Unfortunately tickets are non-refundable, as food, materials and staffing will already have been arranged.

 

You are welcome to transfer your place to someone else — please let us know in advance.

 

Cancellations by Us

If we need to cancel an event due to unforeseen circumstances (such as illness, extreme weather or low numbers), you will be offered:

  • a full refund, or

  • the option to transfer your booking to a future date.

We cannot be responsible for travel or accommodation costs incurred.

 

Exceptional Circumstances

If you are unable to attend due to illness or emergency, please contact us — we will always try to respond with kindness and discretion.

ALLERGEN STATEMENT

At Haymans Farm, food is at the centre of what we do. We take allergens and dietary needs very seriously.

 

Important Information

Food prepared and shared during our workshops may contain or come into contact with the following allergens: 

 

  • Cereals containing gluten

  • Crustaceans and molluscs

  • Nuts and peanuts

  • Milk and dairy

  • Eggs

  • Fish

  • Sesame

  • Soya

  • Mustard

  • Celery

  • Sulpher dioxide and sulphites

  • Lupin


We prepare food in a shared kitchen environment where cross-contamination may occur.

 

Dietary Requirements

We ask all participants to notify us of any allergies or dietary requirements at the time of booking.

If you have a severe allergy, please contact us before booking so we can discuss whether the event is suitable for you.

While we do our best to accommodate a wide range of needs, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

 

Responsibility

By attending an event, you acknowledge that:

  • You have informed us of relevant allergies

  • You understand food is prepared in a shared kitchen

  • Participation is at your own discretion

SAFEGUARDING

At Haymans Farm, we are committed to creating a safe, healthy, welcoming and respectful environment for everyone who visits or takes part in activities on the farm be they staff, volunteers, visitors or contractors.

We welcome people of all ages and abilities and take our responsibility seriously to protect the wellbeing of children, young people and vulnerable adults.

Our commitment

We aim to ensure that everyone feels safe, valued and supported, and that children, young people and vulnerable adults are protected from harm.

 

Children and young people

Children are welcome at Haymans Farm when accompanied by a parent, carer or responsible adult unless otherwise agreed in advance.

 

Haymans Farm does not normally provide unsupervised childcare.

If you have a concern about someone’s safety or wellbeing while at Haymans Farm, please speak to a member of the team or contact our Designated Safeguarding Lead – Flora Stubbs.
