​ Workshop Tutor

Jane McCullen is a local basket maker with a passion for traditional willow weaving. Her relaxed, friendly teaching style makes everyone feel welcome, and her workshops are full of laughter, encouragement and creativity.

​Overview

During the workshop you’ll learn several traditional basketry techniques while creating a beautiful woody-bottom log basket. You’ll work with natural willow using professional tools, and by the end of the day you’ll take home a strong, practical basket that’s made entirely by you.

All materials, tools and equipment are provided.

A farm lunch, tea, coffee and plenty of encouragement are included throughout the day!
